The DOL reported:
Within the week ending January 18, the advance determine for seasonally adjusted preliminary claims was 223,000, a rise of
6,000 from the earlier week’s unrevised degree of 217,000. The 4-week shifting common was 213,500, a rise of 750
from the earlier week’s unrevised common of 212,750.
