The DOL reported:
Within the week ending January 11, the advance determine for seasonally adjusted preliminary claims was 217,000, a rise of
14,000 from the earlier week’s revised degree. The earlier week’s degree was revised up by 2,000 from 201,000 to
203,000. The 4-week transferring common was 212,750, a lower of 750 from the earlier week’s revised common. The
earlier week’s common was revised up by 500 from 213,000 to 213,500.
