This graph reveals heavy truck gross sales since 1967 utilizing knowledge from the BEA. The dashed line is the September 2024 seasonally adjusted annual gross sales price (SAAR) of 477 thousand.
Heavy truck gross sales actually collapsed through the nice recession, falling to a low of 180 thousand SAAR in Could 2009. Then heavy truck gross sales elevated to a brand new report excessive of 570 thousand SAAR in April 2019.
